by M0D3Rn on Jul.07, 2009, under Opinion/Rant, Video Games

Can't we just be friends?
Well I can’t really call this a rant, and before people get up in arms about which I feel is better, I’ll disappoint you all RIGHT now.
They are BOTH great games.
Right…Are the fanboys gone? …oh good they have lost interest.

The Joker is Upset…
View More of the Comic here
What? Who? What’s going on? I mean, it’s not strange that an iconic villain makes a fictitious headline - but they are talking his…boner? Obviously these 80’s comics have a different context on the word than I do.
This is the only frame of this comic I can find so far, I am trying to find out what is happening - mainly because of his quote - “I’LL SHOW THEM HOW MANY BONERS THE JOKER CAN MAKE!”
…What the hell? I think it’s time to do some research.
3D Sculpting Makes Me Feel Unskilled and Lame.
by M0D3Rn on May.08, 2009, under Web Awesomeness
Well, there are times where you discover something on the internet, and something pops into your head.
Maybe what you are seeing is so sad that you instantly feel better about yourself, like an in depth guide on how to build a fake vagina out of a towel, and a rubber glove. Or maybe what you see makes you question the everyday normality that is your life, like a youtube video of a man that climbs skyscrapers with his bare hands.
But sometimes, you see something that makes you think, “Damn it, some people are wicked skilled at things I didn’t even know existed. And now I feel LAME.”
This is one of those moments.
While randomly looking up High Res images of “Deadpool” to create a desktop pattern, I discovered this gem - a series of youtube videos showing a guy by the name of Tyler Figueira demonstrating the 3D sculpting tool “Zbrush3″
Now he has a whole bunch of stuff, but I only watched his 3D sculpt of the Marvel character “Deadpool” (And no, not the sorry excuse in the Wolverine: Origins movie*) and was blown away.
I could rant forever about it, but I reckon it would be better to show you.
Full youtube movies below if you want to see how he turned a bunch of 3D balls into that rippling awesome character. Now with added legs!
Wasn’t that just awesome?
To see more of Ty’s amazing work, including things that AREN’T comic book related, check out his very minimilist and cool website:

And now I am going to go and find something to do that makes me feel less lame.
…Like eat ice cream out of the tub and promise myself my diet will start TOMORROW.
